Many individuals have reached out to members of the Harvey Kalles Real Estate team to ask how COVID-19 has affected our operations, and what changes will be taking place going forward.

At this time, our agents have been instructed to work remotely. We are asking Harvey Kalles agents to ask other agents who book showings with them if they are experiencing any of the major COVID-19 symptoms (cough, sore throat, fever, trouble breathing, feeling ill), or have travelled within the last 14 days. If they have, then showings should be postponed until the 14 day self-isolation period has lapsed.

All offers and documentation for the sale, purchase or closing of a property will be sent electronically, and we have asked our agents to refrain from in-person ‘Offer Nights,’ instead having offer presentations conducted via email. Signatures will be obtained through either DocuSign or Authentisign.

We are monitoring this situation on a daily basis, while also taking into account any updates from the Lakelands Real Estate Board, and the Ontario and Federal governments. We will update our policies accordingly.
The health and safety of everyone is our number one priority, so if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to Tom Cross. By putting these restrictions in place, we are hoping to help keep everyone safe. We understand these are extraordinary measures, but these are also extraordinary and unprecedented times.

Last, but not least: Stay safe, continue to practice “social distancing,” and remember to wash your hands for twenty seconds when leaving or entering your home. Even if you are young and healthy, think about the elderly, or others with compromised immune systems #stayhome
